Packaging is probably the most important process during a move. If the packaging is done correctly and organized, all the movement will be more relaxed, methodically and above all soon!
Prepare by buying from scratch what you will need, gather your tools and set a rough schedule for the beginning, middle and end of the process.

Relocation Preparation:

Get the necessary packaging materials to move:

Boxes

Adhesive tapes

"Fragile" movie

Marking with marker

Bubble roll

Garbage bags

Wrapping paper

Cutter

Screwdriver

Pliers

Pair of scissors

Staircase

Trolleys

Moving Packaging:

You start packing 1 month before moving.

Start with rooms you don't use every day (storage) and clothes you don't use (winter if you move in summer).

Consume until the day of the move what is not being transported, such as food that is in the fridge or finished bathroom products.

Separate the useful from the useless and decide what you will take with you and what will be left behind.

Wrap your furniture first with a bubble and then apply the adhesive tape as if it enters directly on the surface of the furniture it can wear out.

Take a picture of the connected cables on the electronic devices before disconnecting them.

This way, in case you forget that the photo is connected, it will remind you.

Attach each box with tape to the bottom and pack whatever is in closets and drawers,

so that when they are empty, you can distinguish what is left for packaging.

Start packing the smallest items first, such as decorations and glassware such as glasses, dishes, and the larger ones.

Use more bubble and tape to pack fragile items for extra protection

and avoiding possible damage during transport.

Try not to leave gaps in the box because it is possible to move objects during transport and hit each other.

Fill the gaps with a little bubble roll to avoid this kind of wear.

Place the larger and heavier objects at the bottom of the boxes and calculate their total weight so that they are easily transported.

In case you exceed the above weight, it would be good to carry out the specific transfers with a stroller.

Mark with a marker in which room each box goes and what it contains so that you can save valuable time and energy in unpacking.

Stick a film on the box with a "fragile" mark on liquids and glassware so that it is given due attention.

Pay attention to which side you stick the bottom of the box.

Remember that the arrows printed on it must point upwards, preventing any accidental overturning during transport.

Put numbers with the marker on each box and keep the numbers on a piece of paper so you can more easily check if a box is missing and what was inside.

Make a suitcase with personal care and necessities that you will need on the first day in your new home such as pajamas, towels,

sheets, toilet paper and kitchen paper.

Settle on the new home:

Make sure each box is placed in the room above.

Start "unpacking" from boxes containing the most useful items in each room and then empty

boxes containing decorative items.

Take care of one room at a time by putting things in their new places.

It is advisable to sort the rooms by utility so I start from the kitchen, continue to the bedroom, the bathroom and finally leave the living room.
